4、ecognizedthatthefermentationprocessconsistoftwophases,namely,acidogensisandsolventogensis.Attheinitialphaseofacidogensis,acidiccompoundslikeacetateandbutyrateareproducedandthepHvalueofthemediumdropsdownrapidly,whileoff-gasofC02andH2aredischarged.Whenthephaseofsolventogensiscomesup,thechrote
5、ridiumacetobutylicumconsumesacetateandbutyratetoturnoutacetone,butanolandethanol,whileC02andHEarealsoproduced.Thisindicatedsthatthematerialtransformationprocessinmicro—scaleviacellsisreflectedbythevariationonthecomponentsofthemediumandoff-gasinmacro-scale.DuetothatABEfermentationrequiresari
6、gorousanaerobicenvironment,aprimaryproblemtobesolvedformonitoringthefermentationprocessistoensuretheanaerobicenvironmentagainstexternaldisturbance.Anentirelyclosedmonitoringmethodisproposedinthisthesis,basedontestingdifferentconnectionbetweenananaerobicbioreactorandgasanalyzer.Thatis,aconic
