4、nofnewcompaniessuchasEnronBodilyandBruner,2002;Bratton，2003;andwiththederegulationoffinancialoperationsnewriskshavebeenacquired?withsomebanksofferinginsuranceproductsandinsurancecompanieswritingmarkctandcreditdcrivativesBroomeandMarkham,2000.Over-the-counterderivativemarketsrapidlyovercameallot

5、hersinnotionalsizebutcapitalization,ontheglobalscale,decreasedduringthisperiodandbytheearly1980ssomeindividualbanks,ifnotnationalbankingindustries,hadbecomehighlyvulnerable.AsaresuItthesupervisionandreguleitionofbanksandotherfinancialfirmshasincreased.Inparticular,capitaladequacyrequirementshav
