第六讲状语从句一．知识讲解考点1：引导时间状语从句的从属连词when,as,while,after,before,since,once,until,till,assoonas,everytime/eachtime,themoment,theminute,immediately,directly,instantly等。温馨提示：1.bedoing…when…,beabouttodo…when…常表示“正在……突然……”或“正要……这时……”,如：Iwasabouttofallasleepwhenmysistercamein.Iwaswalkingalongthestreet,whenImethim.2.while引导的从句的谓语动词必须是延续性的，并强调主句和从句的动作同时发生（或者相呼应），此外，while有时还可以表示对比。如：Wearecleaningtheclassroomwhiletheyareplayingthefootball.3.Themoment---一……就……=assoonas,immediately,如：---DidyouremembertogiveMarythemoneyyouowedher?---Yes,IgaveherthemomentIsawher.Nosoonerthan---一……就……=hardly…when如：Nosoonerhadhearrivedthanhewentawayagain.考点2：引导地点状语从句的从属连词where,wherever,等。Where---在……地方如：Putthemedicinewhereyoucaneasilygetit.Wherethereisawill,thereisaway.Wherever---无论哪里如：Hefollowsherwherevershegoes.考点3：引导原因状语从句的从属连词because,since,as,nowthat,inthat,for等。1.Because---因为,如：MrSmithwasveryupsetbecausehecouldn’tfindhisluggage.2.As---因为,通常放在句首，如：Asheishonestandmodest,allhisfriendslikehim.3.Since---语气较弱,常译为既然，如：Sincethepurserdidn’ttelluswhattodo,wecanrelax.4.Nowthat---既然，如：Nowthatyouarehere,youcanjoinus.5.For---语气最弱，不放句首，表补充说明，如：Thegroundwaswet,foritrainedyesterday.考点4：引导让步状语从句的从属连词although,though,evenif,eventhough,as,whether…or,nomatterwhat/who/how/when,whatever,whoever,however,whenever等。1.Although,though---虽然；although常放在句首。though可以用于倒装。如：Althoughitwasraining,theplanemanagedtotakeoff.Childthoughhewas,hedidquitewell.2.As---尽管；as引导让步状语从句时，句子通常倒装。可与though互换。如：Busyasheis,henevermissesafootballmatch.3.Evenif/eventhough---即使如：Evenifyoudon’tlikeyourboss,youshoulddoyourwork.4.However---不论，however引导让步状语从句时，句子通常倒装。如：Hecouldn’tgetthereontimehoweverfasthedrove.5.Nomatter(what,when,where,how)---无论（什么，何时，何地，怎样）如：Theoldmanwouldn’tbelieveanythingnomatterwhatyousaid.6.While---尽管如：WhileIhavesympathyforyou,Ican’thelpyou.7.Whether---不管，常与ornot连用;如Whetherhisideaispracticalornot,weplanstoadoptit.考点5：引导条件状语从句的从属连词4
