1、IAPMO/ANSIZ124.5-2013PlasticToiletSeatsAmericanNationalStandardApprovalofanAmericanNationalStandardrequiresverificationbyANSIthattherequirementsfordueprocess,consensus,andothercriteriaforapprovalhavebeenmetbythestandardsdeveloper.Consensusisestablishedwhen,inthej
2、udgmentoftheANSIBoardofStandardsReview,substantialagreementhasbeenreachedbydirectlyandmateriallyaffectedinterests.Substantialagreementmeansmuchmorethanasimplemajority,butnotnecessarilyunanimity.Consensusrequiresthatallviewsandobjectionsbeconsidered,andthataconcer
3、tedeffortbemadetowardtheirresolution.TheuseofAmericanNationalStandardsiscompletelyvoluntary;theirexistencedoesnotinanyrespectprecludeanyone,whetherhehasapprovedthestandardsornot,frommanufacturing,marketing,purchasing,orusingproducts,processes,orproceduresnotconfo
4、rmingtothestandards.TheAmericanNationalStandardsInstitutedoesnotdevelopstandardsandwillinnocircumstancesgiveaninterpretationofanyAmericanNationalStandard.Moreover,nopersonshallhavetherightorauthoritytoissueaninterpretationofanAmericanNationalStandardinthenameofth
5、eAmericanNationalStandardsInstitute.Requestsforinterpretationsshouldbeaddressedtothesecretariatorsponsorwhosenameappearsonthetitlepageofthisstandard.CAUTIONNOTICE:ThisAmericanNationalStandardmayberevisedorwithdrawnatanytime.TheproceduresoftheAmericanNationalStand
