3、bjecttoapplicableFederalcryptographicmoduleexportcontrols(seeCommercialEncryptionExportControlsfortheexactregulations).AESisanewcryptographicalgorithmthatcanbeusedtoprotectelectronicdata.Specifically,AESisaniterative,symmetric-keyblockcipherthatcanusekeysof128,192,and256bits,andencryptsanddecrypt
4、sdatainblocksof128bits(16bytes).Unlikepublic-keyciphers,whichuseapairofkeys,symmetric-keyciphersusethesamekeytoencryptanddecryptdata.Encrypteddatareturnedbyblockciphershavethesamenumberofbitsthattheinputdatahad.Iterativeciphersusealoopstructurethatrepeatedlyperformspermutationsandsubstitutionsoft
