2、tosan-coatedteapolyphenolsnanoparticles(CS-TPNPs)weredeterminedbyusingtransmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM)andFT-IRspectroscopy.ItwasfoundthatthesynthesizedCS-TPNPswerenon-sphericalinshapewithanaveragesizeof407±50nm.Meanwhile,thedrugcontentandencapsulationrateofthenanoparti
3、cleswas8–16%and44–83%,respectively.TheseCS-TPNPsalsodemonstratedsustainedreleaseofteapolyphenolsinPBS.TheantitumorofCS-TPNPstowardsHepG2cancercellswasinvestigated.TheresultshowedthatCS-TPNPsretainedsignificantantitumoractivities.1.IntroductionNowadays,canceristhemajorpubl

5、gantioxidantsandanticarcinogenicactivities[2].Invitroandanimalstudiesprovidestrongevidencethatpolyphenolsderivedfromteamaypossessthebioactivitytoinhibittumorigenesisinavarietyofanimalmodelsofcarcinogenesis[3].Teapolyphenolshasbeenshowntoinhibitthedevelopmentofcancerinanim
6、almodelsoforal,esophageal,forestomach,stomach,intestinal,colon,skin,liver,bladder,prostate,andbreastcancer[4,5].Althoughteapolyphenolsarewidelyusedforthepreventionandtreatmentofcancer,itstherapeuticeffectsarealwayslimitedbysevereadverseeffects,suchasthestabilityofbiologic
