4、生活中并作为人与人之间交流信息的工具。不同的文化使得语言以及禁忌语的使用和表达方式各有差异。也就是说，禁忌语是一种基于不同文化背景下的广泛存在的语言现象。本论文希望通过文化比较的方式分析中英禁忌语帮助人们跟清楚地了解禁忌语习俗中的相同点和不同点，从而使其在面对面的禁忌语冲突环境中更好地进行跨文化交流。关键词：语言学禁忌语；演变；文化内涵；禁忌语习俗AbstractTabooisubiquitous,multidimensional,andall-pervasivelinguisticandsocialphenomenoninlanguag
