2、uringthistimeistheNormanConquest.AlargenumberofFrenchology,extendinginfluencetogrammar,spelling,pronunciationandation.ThesecondstageisfromEuropeanRenaissancetothepresentglobalization.iddleEnglishperiodFrenchhadastronginfluenceonEnglish.TheinfluenceoftheFrench
3、languageupontheEnglishlanguagecanbedividedintotainstages.ThefirststageisfromNormanConquestto1500.OneofthemostinfluentialfactorsistheNormanConquest.AtthisstagetheFrenchonpeople.Thesecondstageisfrom1500tothepresenttime.Ontheostdirectandobservableimpactmanifests
4、itselfontheansociety,e.g.government,lailitaryaffairs,foodandsoon.Moreover,thedegreeofvocabularyinfluenceisconsiderable.Someilated;somenativeeaningsareexpanded.Besides,FrenchalsoinfluencesEnglishgrammar,spelling,pronunciationandation.AndnoilyThelanguagesbrough
5、tintorelationshipbydescentorprogressivedifferentiationfromaparentspeechareconvenientlycalledafamilyoflanguages.Itisassumedthatthereareroughly300languagefamiliesintheadeupofmostlanguagesofEurope,theNearEast,andIndia.Theparenttonguefromedividedandscatteredbefor
