1、ABSTRACTABSTRACTNetworkrelatedproblemsareincreasingcontinuouslyasthesizeofmobilecommunicationnetworksissignificantlyscalingup.Majorstepsofthetraditionalnetworkoptimizationprocessrelyonmanualoperationwhichisinefficient.Furthermore,alltheoperatorsandexpertsneedtodirectlyworkontheOMC-Rduringthe

2、networkoptimizationprocess,causingheavyloadtoOMC-R,lowefficiencyandsecurityproblems.Meanwhiledelaysandconflictofresponsibilitiesarecausedbymanualdispatchofworkingorderduringnetworkperformancemonitoring.Therefore,itisveryvaluabletodevelopanewplatformofnetworkoptimizationandanalysisforshorteni

3、ngtheprocessingtimeandprovidingrealtimefeedbackfromthenetwork.Basedonathouroughresearchonthepracticalrequirementsfromnetworkoptimizationoperators,thisthesisanalyzesboththecontentandworkflowinnetworkoptimizationprocess.Basedontheanalysis,anetworkoptimizationsupportingsystemisdesigned,whichrep

4、lacesmanualoperationbyautomaticcollectionofcomplexdataandpreliminarydataanalysisbeforepresentingtheresulttothenetworkoptimizationoperators.Thefunctionalityofthesystemincludesthat,theprevailinginfrastructureofBrowser/Serverwhichinvolvesuserauthenticationandwebpageencryptioninordertoachievedat

5、aprotection;thescheduledsamplingfunctionwhichstoresdataofOMC-RintodatabaseperiodicallyinordertoreduceloadofOMC-R;thefunctionalityofcustomizedKPI,reportinganddatainquerywhichreduceslotsofmanualworksuchasformulacalculationandreportcreationinordertoimproveefficiencysignificantly;theautomaticwor

6、kingorderdispatchbasedonalertconditionsaswellaslogrecordingforthewholeprocessinordertodetectnetworkproblemsasearlyaspossibleandtoavoidconflictofresponsibilities.ThePMSsystemresearchedinthisthesisisbasedonmodularizeddesigningsenseandB/Ssystem.Therearefivepartsinthissystemwhicharedatabaseserve
