1、SexDiscriminationintheEnglishLanguage论英语语言中的性别歧视【摘要】从某一程度上来说,语言是社会现实的一面镜子,反映了某种社会现象。同样，性别歧视也体现在语言当中。在人类社会漫长的发展历程中，虽然两种性别的人们共同经历了这个漫长的历程，共同承担人类生息繁衍和文明进步的责任，但由于社会文化、男女两性间的生理差异及社会角色不同等原因，他们在历史中的作用是不平等的。在传统的科学研究中，女性历来仅仅被当作是生物学意义上的研究对象，她们在政治文化和社会生活中的弱者地位使得其作为社会主体的另一半的作用被长期忽略了。因此本文的写作
2、目的在于引起人们对英语语言中的性别歧视现象的重视,以期能对妇女地位的提高有所帮助。本文的第一部分通过举例和分类系统地阐述性别歧视现象在英语语言中的表现，如性别歧视在人称称谓、语义词义及谚语中的体现等等;第二部分分析了个中原因；第三部分极力探讨如何消除性别歧视现象，并提出了解决方案。【关键词】性别歧视;男性;女性;英语[Abstract]Tosomeextent,languageisamirroroftherealsociety,reflectingsocialphenomena.Likewise,sexismalsomanifestsinlanguag
