6、onMagazine,1500-1600newwordsareenteringtheircomputerdatabaseeachyear.ModernEnglishhasavocabularyof500,000words,and2/3ofthemarecreatedduringthelatest300years(WangRongpei,1997)WhenwereadtheEnglishnewspapers(suchasNetizen)andmagazines(suchasYetties)orlistentot
7、heEnglishbroadcast(Watergate),howfrequentlyweencounterneologismsandwehavetoacknowledgethefactthatwecannotalwaysdependonthedictionaries,soitisveryimportantforEnglishlearnerstostudyneologisms.AccordingtotheOxfordDictionaryofNewWords(ElizabethKnowleswithJuliaE
