2、 Thelistdoesnotincludewordsthatareinthemostfrequent2000wordsofEnglish.TheAWLwasprimarilymadesothatitcouldbeusedbyteachersaspartofaprogrammepreparinglearnersfortertiarylevelstudyorusedbystudentsworkingalonetolearnthewordsmostneededtostudyattertiaryinstitutions.TheAca

3、demicWordListreplacestheUniversityWordList.SublistsoftheAcademicWordListEachwordinitalicsisthemostfrequentlyoccurringmemberofthewordfamilyintheAcademicCorpus.Forexample,analysisisthemostcommonformofthewordfamilyanalyse.BritishandAmericanspellingisincludedinthewordfa
