3、inthewoodsandlakesofNorthernMichigan.Hisearlyexperienceswithnatureinstilledalastingpassionforoutdooradventure,livinginremoteorisolatedareas,huntingandfishing.Hisvarietyofinterest,especiallytheloveoffishingextremelyaffectedallhislifeandhedrewmuchwritinginspirationfr
4、omhisfishingexperience.Takingadventuresalsoplaysavitalroleinhislifeandforthereasonthatheexperiencedthetwoworldwars.HemingwayattendedWorldWarIasanambulancedriverofRedCross.HereceivedtheItalianSilverMedalofBraverybecauseofhisprominentperformanceinthebattlefield.Hewas
5、senttoEuropeforalongtime.HejoinedWorldWarⅡandSpanishCivilWarasajournalist.Alltheserichexperiencesbroughtmuchmaterialtohiswriting.Heworkedasajournalistbeforebecominganovelist.DuringhishighschooltimeheattendedTheKansasCityStarasareporter,wherehelearnedthatthetruthwas
6、oftenbeneaththestory.Althoughheworkedatthenewspaperforonlysixmonths,heestablishedhiswritingstylethatshortsentencesandshortfirstparagraphswereusedandpositivebutnotnegativeattitudewaspresentedinhisreports.Afterpublishedmanyfamousworks,hedevelopedhisownwritingstyle.Si
