1、摘要作为一种普遍的语言现象，歧义涉及语言的方方面面，它的存在是语言共性的表现。歧义对语言的运用和表达造成了一定的障碍。过去许多学者就英语歧义开展了大量的研究工作，并且取得了一定的成果，但是大部分人的研究还是在纯语言学平面内进行的不涉及具体的特定情景和上下文，常常是从固有歧义出发，尽可能脱离上下文对歧义的语义制约来进行研究。从交际语言观的角度来看，这是不符合语言使用的本质的。因此本文首先就过去大部分学者对歧义的一般分类从语音,词汇,语法和语义四个方面对英汉语歧义现象进行研究，在这个过程中也会顺带简略介绍一下各自产生的原因。然后会介绍歧
