7、;yearningxviii摘要《麦田里的守望者》成功塑造了霍尔顿这一反英雄形象，该书已成为公认的当代美国文学，乃至世界文学的经典。该书的研究者大多借助语言学，心理学等相关理论分析文章。然而，这些分析过多侧重于人物的心理阐述，以及在20世纪50年代社会大背景下反应出来的社会矛盾与现实问题，而淡化了小说主人公霍尔顿从迷失到憧憬这一巨大心理过程中所反应出的成长主题。很少有人从如何调整自己以适应社会潮流的角度来研究霍尔顿的成长过程。在总结前人的研究基础上，本文从如何适应社会这一主题进行分析主人公霍尔顿从迷失到憧憬这一
