2、iprocalexchangeprogramagreementtoinitiatestudentexchangeprograms.InFeb2010,theOSUProvostsignedasubsequentagreementwiththeSWJTUPresidenttoestablishtwiningdegreeprogramsincivilengineeringandbusiness.ThesecondactivityagreementsignedwithSWJTUfurtherenhancedcollaboration
3、betweenthetwoinstitutions.Meanwhile,SWJTUhasalreadysentsenioradministratorstoattendtheOSUInternationalSymposiumonStudentAffairseachofthelasttwosummerstoincreasefacultyandstaffexchange.Morethan10studentsfromSWJTUhavebeenstudyingatOSUaspartofdegreeorexchangeprograms.T
4、hisrecentactivityhaslaidthefoundationforastronginternationalpartnershipthatshouldlastthroughoutmanyyears.ThefollowingproposalforanOSUSummerInstituteforSWJUstudentsisanadditionalefforttoenhancethislong-termcollaboration.2008年,俄克拉何马州立大学(OSU)与西南交通大学(SWJTU)签署了合作备忘录及交换学生
5、备忘录,标志着两校学生交换项目的全面启动.2010年2月,OSU教务副校长与SWJTU校长共同签署了土木工程及商学双学位合作项目,进一步加强了两校的学术合作.同时,SWJTU先后派遣中层以上学生事务管理者参加OSU年度国际学生事务研讨会,增进两校教职员工的交流与合作.近年来,OSU已经接收了十几名SWJTU的优秀学生进行短期交换或双学位深造.卓越工程师暑假学术殿堂项目将进一步加强两校的深层次的长期大学合作伙伴关系.AbouttheProposal项目概述ThisproposalwaspreparedbytheOSUIntern
6、ationalStudentsandScholarsOfficeinresponsetoSWJTU’srequestforenhancingtheinternationalexperienceof“ZhanTianyouCollege”(HonorsCollege)intheimplementationofthe“ExcellentEngineersEducationPlan”.TheprogramisajointeffortoftheCollegeofEngineering,ArchitectureandTechnology
7、,TheCollegeofArtandSciences,andTheStudentAffairsDivision.Theproposedprogramincludesafour-weekeducationalcomponentthatincludesweekendculturalenrichmentactivities.TheproposeddatesareJuly12toAugust17,2011.该项目计划是由OSU国际学生学者办公室根据SWJTU的近期卓越工程师的培养计划而制定的,旨在增强詹天佑学院优秀学生的国际意识和国
