3、aredifferent,Chinabeing$3.77wanyi,andUSAbeing$13.98wanyi.AnyhowChinaapproximated1/4theGDPoftheUSinwealthin2008whereastheformer’spopulationhasquadrupledthatoftheUSA.ThereexistsasharpcontrastofwealthbetweentheUSAandPRC:For2009theGDPoftheU.S.was14,256,300millionsofUSD,whilePRC:4,909,280

4、millionsofUSD(bytheWorldBank);theU.S.GDPpercapitawas46,381$;PRC:3,678$,lessthan1/12oftheUSA’s(theInternationalMonetaryFund).TheGDPintheUnitedStateswasworth15.094trillionUSdollarsin2011whileChina’sGDPwasworth7.298trillionUSdollars.China’sGDPin2012wasworth7.991trillionUSdollars(ItsGDPp

5、ercapitawasUS$5,898)(fromtheIMF).ItsGDPwasnexttotheeconomyoftheUnitedStates,whichstillremainstheworld’slargestnationaleconomy,withitsnominalGDPworth$15.609 trillionin2012(fromtheIMF).TheU.S.isoneoftheworld’swealthiestnations,withabundantnaturalresources,awell-developedinfrastructure,

6、andhighproductivity.Ithasoneoftheworld’shighestpercapitaGDP.ThereforetherearegoodreasonsforustolearnabouttheUS.Whyinsuchshorttimeinhistoryhasitbecomesopowerful?TheAmericansmustbeadvancedinideologyandsoon,whichmayinsomewayfindsexpressionsinliterature.2.Whyshouldwelearnliterature?Inord
