1、morethan与more…than短语在英语中使用得十分广泛。但其用法和意义并不简单，一不留神就可能用错。因为morethan与more…than除了具备其基本用法外，还有些特殊用法。理解和翻译时要特别小心，不能一看到morethan就简单地按照字面上的意思将其理解为“比……更……”或“超过”等，而是要根据上下文找出morethan短语的确切含义，只有这样才不至于贻笑大方。morethan相当于一个形容词或副词短语，在句中作定语或状语，修饰其后的动词、副词、数词或名词等。一.  morethan的用法1.morethan后跟数词，相当于over，翻译成“……多、超过……”等，强调某
