3、为重要,要用尽量少的文字表达意愿,但又不能因用字少而造成含义不清。因此要避免啰嗦、重复和冗长的词句。短句一般要比长句简洁。假如一封函电包含多项事宜,要按内容分段撰写。1.Conciseness.Nowadays,withcompetitionbecomingkeenerandkeenerinforeigntrade,itseemstobemoreimportanttouselesswordstoexpresspeople’swilling,butthiscannotbetheexcuseofmisunderstandingresultedbylesswords.Thatiswhyco

5、构缩略语。如:WTO(世界贸易组织),ICC(国际商会),IMF(国际货币基金组织),ISO(国际标准化组织),CCPIT(中国贸促会),COSCO(中国远洋运输公司)等等。(2)常用外贸术语缩略语。如:D/P(付款交单),FIO(不管装卸),EXW(工厂交货),A.T.L.(实际全损),B/L(提单),GSP(普惠制),INCOTERMS(国际贸易术语解释通则)等等。(3)常用信函缩略语。如:Re(事由),C.C.(副本抄送),Encls(附件),P.S.(附言),Add.(地址),C/O(转交)等等。1.Usingsomeabbreviationappropriately.Wit
