2、mtheyearof2003to2006,themonthlywagesofruralmigrantspercapitaincreases22.0percent,andgrowssteadilyyearbyyear;theproportionofruralmigrantswithmonthlywagesofaboveRMB600goesup;thewagegrowthrateofmaleruralmigrantsrisesfasterthanthefemale;thewagesofruralmigrantswhohavegottenvocationaltra

3、iningincreasemorerapidly,andthosewhoareemployedintheservicesectorsofagriculture,architecture,businessandcateringenjoyacomparativelyhighwagegrowthrate.Thefactorssupportingtherapidwageincreaseofruralmigrantscanbeconcludedasfollows:thedemandforruralmigrantsincreasesattributedtothestab

4、legrowthofnationaleconomy;theimprovingemploymentpoliciesgiveabettersafeguardofruralmigrants’rightandinterests;thejumpofagriculturallaborcostcausestheheighteningexpectationofruralmigrantsforwageearning;Thetechnicalqualificationofruralmigrantsisupgradedowningtothestrengthenedvocation

5、altraining.However,althoughthewageofruralmigrantsincreasedinthepastfewyears,thereisstillaratherbiggapcomparedtothatofurbanemployees,eitherintermsofabsolutewageearningsoritsgrowthrate.Inordertofurtheracceleratethetransferofrurallaborforceandincreasethewagelevelofruralmigrants,ontheo

6、nehanditistoexpandtheemploymentchannelstoincreasetheemploymentopportunitiesforfarmers;ontheotherhanditistosubstantiallyimprovetheemploymentenvironmentforrurallaborforcetoreducetheemploymentcost.Inthisprocess,themarketrolesonallocationandpriceoflaborforceshouldmakealeadeffectively,a
