3、throughlibraries,butMendel’scontemporariesdidnotunderstandhisfindings,probablypartlybecauseofthemathematicalexplanationsasteryin1868andpublishednothingfurtheronhereditybytherestofthescientificcommunityuntil1900,whenthreebotanists,CarlCorrensinGermany,HugodeVriesintheNetherlands,andErichvonTsc
