4、topresentaportionoftheresultsobtainedinthenationwidestudywhichexploredhowCroatianhumanitiesacademicsandscholarsperceiveanduse(historicalandcurrent)newspapers.Thestudypresentedinthispaperfocusedontwogroupsofresearchers,historiansandlinguists,andaimedtoanswerthefol
5、lowingresearchquestions:‘Whatkindsofinformationdo(Croatian)historiansandlinguistslookforinnewspapers?’,‘Whatdifficultiesdoresearchersencounterwhenusingnewspapers?’and‘Whatwouldenhancenewspaperuseintheirfurtherresearch?’.AsurveywasconductedinDecember2013throughano
6、nlinequestionnaire,andtheinitialresultsshowthatalmosthalfoftherespondentsusenewspapers(printoronline)asaprimaryresearchsourceandthatthemajorityofrespondentsstillprefertoconsultprintnewspapersoverelectronicforavarietyofreasons.Interestingly,althoughthemajorityofre
