5、lserviceproviderbutspunofftoformasubsidiaryorcapitalinvestment.AnexampleofITinfrastructureoutsourcingisthecontractwhichtheDeutscheBankconcludedwithIBMin2002(Donath,2002).SharedHostingdenotesthestandardizedprovisionofdatacenterservicesbyaspecializedserviceproviderforvariouscustomer

6、s(Riedl,2003,p.8).UnlikeITinfrastructureoutsourcing,theserviceindividualizationbetweenserviceproviderandcustomerisconsequentlylow(one-to-manyapproach).Inthetechnicalliteraturetheterm“platformoperations”isnormallyusedforthisformofoutsourcing.Datacenterservicesareoftenspunofftoasubs
