2、rectlyusetheoriginalforeignname,suchasalargenumberoftheuseandimitationofawarintheBritishDH4.DH-9bombers;FranceNiubao17andSheppard13.Asforasmallnumberofdomesticaircraft,therespectivemanufacturingcompaniesatrandombynameornumber,thereisnouniformmodelnaminglaw.Thiswenton
3、for1919years(oneyearaftertheendofWorldWarI).After1919,mostaircraftcompaniescontinuedtousetheirrespectivenumbers,buttheairforcebegantonamethemodelinthefirstsetofmethodsformilitaryaircraftbetweenSeptember1919and1924.ThisnomenclaturewasamodifiedversionoftheFrenchmodelno
4、menclatureatthattime.Ituses15capitalsandEnglishletters.TheLeaguewillindicate15differentaircraftuses,followedbyadesignserialnumber.Notlongafter,4typesofcodenameswereadded,butthelatterwasexpressedinsingleEnglishletters.SinceMay1924,secondtypesofnomenclaturehavebeenadop
5、ted.Asin1947aftertheArmyAirForceAirForcein1948andbecameindependent,madesomesmallchanges,bytheuseofcodeanddesignnumber,with1~2uppercaselettersEnglishusecodehasthefollowing17types:A:attackaircraftandsinglelightbombers;B:DB:daytimebomberbomber;F;:photographicreconnaissa
