4、ompetence.Keywords:communicativeapproach,application,principle,andcommunicativecompetence.19摘要:中国加入WTO给国人带来新的机遇和挑战,经济全球化促进全球交流日益频繁,英语已成为国家间交流的必不可少的语言工具。同时,这给外语教学,特别是英语教学方法带来巨大的挑战,越来越多的英语教师将英语交际教学法运用于教学中,教学实践也证明了交际教学法是一种行之有效的方法,交际教学法在中学课堂的可行性尤其明显,它可以充分调动学生的积极性,达到寓教于乐的效果。文章主要谈及交际教学法的起源、原则、目前中学英语
