3、GeneralMeetingoftheBritishColumbiaChamberofCommerce(TheChamber)onthe[MORNINGORAFTERNOON]ofMondayMay25th2015andonthe[MORNINGORAFTERNOON]ofTuesday,May26th,2015inPrinceGeorge,B.C.TheproposedresolutionsarenotexhaustiveofTheChamber'spolicies,someofwhichareapprovedbyourBoardofDirectorsinthe

4、courseoftheyearinorderthatTheChamberstaypro-activeandbeabletoactinatimelyandeffectivemanner.TheproposedresolutionsweredevelopedbyourMemberChambersofCommerce,ChamberTaskForcesandbythePolicyReviewCommitteeofTheChamberandsubmittedpriortothedeadlineofMarch12,2015.Priortotheiracceptancefor

5、debateattheAnnualGeneralMeeting,theproposalswerescreenedbythePolicyReviewCommittee(PRC)chairedbyDavidCraigandcomprisedofrepresentativesfromawiderangeofsectorstakenfromtheChamber’smembership.ThePRCwasmandatedtoensurethatallmatterstobediscussedattheAnnualGeneralMeetingaretimely,importan

6、ttoasignificantnumberofmembersandprovincialinscope.Inretainingthemostappropriateproposals,thePRCalsoattemptedtoensurethatthecontentsweresubstantiveandaccurate.TheresolutionspresentedinthisbookareintheorderinwhichtheywillbediscussedatthePlenarySessionsaccordingtothesequenceproposedbyth

7、ePRCandapprovedbyTheChamber'sExecutive.DuringthePolicySessionsattheAnnualGeneralMeeting,theAccreditedVotingDelegateswillbeaskedtoapprove,defeatorrefereachoftheresolutionsinthisbook.ApprovalofeachresolutionaspolicyofTheChamberrequiresatwothirdsmajoritysupportofthevotescastatthePlenaryS
