3、llasitsrobustnessagainstfadingandinterference.CombiningMIMOwithorthogonalfrequencydivisionmultiplexing(OFDM),itispossibletosignificantlyreducereceivercomplexityasOFDMgreatlysimplifiesequalizationatthereceiver.MIMO-OFDMiscurrentlybeingconsideredforanumberofdevelopingwirel
4、essstandards;consequently,thestudyofMIMO-OFDMinrealisticenvironmentsisofgreatimportance.ThispaperdescribesanapproachforprototypingaMIMO-OFDMsystemusingaflexiblesoftwaredefinedradio(SDR)systemarchitectureinconjunctionwithcommerciallyavailablehardware.Anemphasisonsoftwarep
5、ermitsafocusonalgorithmandsystemdesignissuesratherthanimplementationandhardwareconfiguration.Thepenaltyofthisflexibility,however,isthattheeaseofusecomesattheexpenseofoverallthroughput.Toillustratethebenefitsoftheproposedarchitecture,applicationstoMIMO-OFDMsystemprototypi
