2、tionofage,gender,typeofjob,anddippingpattern.2.Toexaminethecircadianvariabilityandnocturnaldippingpatternsinbloodpressure(BP)andheartrate(HR)inhypertensivesubjectswithandwithoutmedications,usingABPM.3.Toevaluatecircadianrhythmcharacteristicsofbloodpre
3、ssure(BP)andheartrate(HR)inyounghealthywomenasfunctionofphasesoftheirmenstrualcycles.SignificantResultsChapterI:Circadianrhythminbloodpressureandheartrateinapparentlyhealthysubjectsasfunctionofage,genderandtypeofjobAstatisticallysignificantcircadianrh
4、ythm,gaugedbyanullamplitudehypothesistest,wasdocumentedformostofthestudiedvariables,namelySBP,DBP,MAP,DPandHR,irrespectiveofage,gender,worktypeanddippingpattern.However,therhythmdetectionratioinallstudiedvariableswaslowerinoldersubjectsandnon-dippers.
5、Further,gender-linkedvariabilitywasobservedforcircadianMesors(24-haverages)ofmostofthestudiedvariables.ValuesofSBP,DBPandMAPweresignificantlyhigherinmalesthanthatoffemales,however,viceversawasnoticedforHR.Resultsofone-wayANOVAdemonstratethatthefactord
6、ippingpatternproducedsignificanteffectonamplitudesofSBP,DBP,MAP,andDP.Amplitudesofallthesevariablesweresignificantlyhigherinextremedippers(ED)thanthoseofthedippers(D)andnon-dippers(ND).Further,theprevalenceofnon-dippersinthisstudywasabout32%.Wefurther
7、validatedthatthecharacteristicofday-nightvariabilityofbloodpressureandheartrateareinfluencedbythefactors,suchasage,gender,dippingpattern,bodysurfacearea,andbodymassindex.OnthebasisofpresentfindingswecanconcludethatvariabilityinBPmaybeassociatedwithfac
8、torgender,whereasnocturnaldippinginBPisindependentofgender.Interestinglyinthepresentstudy,about32%subjectswerenon-dippersthatmaybeanindicationofhigherriskofcardiovasculardiseasesamongindividualsbelongingtoyoungergenerationofthisregion.Informat
