2、oactivedrugsanddiagnosticdrugs.2.ThenameoftheDrugformulatedunderthisnamingprincipleisthegenericnameofChinaApprovedDrugNames(CADN).CADNisorganizedbythepharmacopeiacommitteeandisreportedtothenationalfoodanddrugadministrationfortherecord.3.Thenameofthedrugshould
3、bescientific,clearandbrief;Thetranslationshouldbeadoptedasfaraspossible,sothatsimilardrugscanbesystematic.4.Thenameofthedrugshouldbeavoidedbyusingthenameofthedrugwhichmayindicatetothepatientaboutpharmacology,anatomy,physiology,pathologyortherapeutics.Intradit
4、ionalChinesemedicineandbiologicalmedicine,thereisnosuchthingasINNnaming.5.TheEnglishnameofthedrugshouldbecompiledbytheworldhealthorganization'sInternationalgenericmedicines(InternationalNonproprietaryNamesforPharmaceutica1Substances,INN);INNhasnoothersuitable
5、Englishname.6.Foralong-useddrugname,ifnecessary,listitsformernameasatransition.TheclassificationoftheEpiphanyinthenameofthedrugisbasedontheprincipalpharmacologicalactionorthemechanismoftheactionofthedrugorthedivisionofthesubject,orthecategorythatisdivideddire
6、ctlyfromtheINN,forreferenceonly.8.Genericnamesofmedicines(includingforeignlanguagenamesandChinesenames)arenotusedinpharmaceuticalproducts.Thegenericnameofthedrug(includingINN)anditsdedicatedEnglishandChinesetranslationsshallnotbeusedasacommoditynameorasacommo
7、ditynamefortrademarkregistration.(2)namingrulesforcommonnamesoftraditionalChinesemedicineChinesemedicinalherbsarenamedChineseherbalmedicinereferstotheplant,animalandmineralmedicineusedinChinesemedicine,traditionalChinesemedicineextract,andChinesemedicine.Then
