4、ertheeasternBayofBengal(B0B),accompaniedwithvigorousconvectiveprecipitationtoitseast.Theareabetweene~ernBOBandwesternIndo-ChinaPeninsulathusbecomestheareawiththeearliestonsetofAsianmonsoon,whichmaybereferredasB0Bmonsooninshort.Itisshownthatthesummertimeci

5、rculationstriggeredbythethermalforcingoftheIranianPlateauandtheTibetanPlateauareembeddedinphasewiththecontinental-scalecirculationforcedbythediabaticheatingovertheEurasianContinent.Asaresult.theEastAsiansummermonsoonisintensifiedandthedroughtclimateoverth

6、ewesternandcentralAsianareasisenhanced.TogetherwithperturbationstriggeredbytheTibetanPlateau,theabovescenariosandtheassociatedheatinghaveimportantinfluencesontheclimatepatternsoverAsia.Furthermore,thecharacteristicsoftheTibetanmodeofthesummertimeSouthAsia
