3、nda95-mhotel. Ourdesignconceptcombinesshape,structureandculturalsymbolisminonerepeatedmotif:ahexagonalfaçade,multiplyingandgrowingacrossthebuilding. Thisfaçadeismadeupoffivedifferentsizesofhexagonalwindows,atraditionalelementinChinesearchitecture.Thesewindowsflowacrossthebuildinginanirregular,n
4、aturallyoccurringpattern,likecellsmultiplying.Thisdeviceanimatesthefaçade,creatinganever-changingimageofthebuildingfromdifferentperspectives. Asasheer,solidsurface,thefaçadeformsthestructureofthebuilding,functioninglikeanexoskeleton.Thisremoves theneedforinternalcolumnsbeyondthebuilding'score,
5、freeingupspacewithinthestructureformoreflexibleuse.Thisboldnewsolutionchallengesconventionalconstructiontechnologyinordertoachievesomethingunique.Thevariedhoneycombalsoimprovesthebuilding'senergyefficiency.Althoughthefaçadepatternappearsrandomatfirst,itactuallyrespondstotheclimaticconditionsoft
