3、sbasedontheirperformanceinenhancingprotectionandimmunityinrainbowtrout(Oncorhynchusmykiss,Walbaum)fingerlings,afterchallengewithAeromonashydrophila.Thus,dietarygarlicatdosesof0.5gand1.0g/100goffeedresultedinmortalitiesof4%(relativepercentsurvival[RPS]=91.75%),comparedwith80%mor
4、talitiesinthecontrols.UseofdietarygingerandLPSledto0%mortality(RPS=100%),comparedwith85%inthecontrols.Growth,feedconversionratio(FCR)andproteinefficiencyratio(PER)wereenhancedinalltheexperimentalgroups.Themodeofactioninvolvedstimulationofnon-specificimmunitybyproliferationofimm
