2、esented,vibratingscreenwithvariableellipticaltracewasproposed.Anaccuratemechanicalmodelwasconstructedaccordingtotherequiredstructuralmotionfeatures.Applyingmulti-degree-of-freedomvibrationtheory,characteristicsofthevibratingscreenwasanalyzed.Kinematicsparametersofthevibr
3、atingscreenwhichmotiontraceswerelinear,circularorellipticalwereobtained.Thestablesolutionsofthedynamicequationsgavethemotionsofthevibratingscreenbymeansofcomputersimulations.Technologicalparameters,includingamplitude,movementvelocityandthrowingindex,offivespecificpointsa
4、longthescreensurfaceweregainedbytheoreticalcalculation.Theresultsshowthatthetracesofthenewdesignedvibratingscreenfollowtheidealscreeningmotion.Thescreeningefficiencyandprocessingcapacitymaythusbeeffectivelyimproved.Keywords:variableellipticaltrace;screeningprocesswithcon

6、enorellipticalvibratingscreen,haveasimpletranslationalmotion.Themotionfollowsthesamepatheverywhereonthescreenandsothescreenhasconstanttransportvelocityandthrowingindex,whichleadstolowscreeningefficiency.Augmentingthethrowingindextoimprovebreakstheexcitingmotorsprocessing
7、capacitylowerstheworking.Inthispaper,wereportonthedesignofanewvibratingscreenwithvariablemotiontracesthatisbasedontheprincipleofscreeningprocesswithconstantbedthickness[3–4].Differentpartsofthevibratingscreentraversedifferentellipticaltracesandtheresultingmotionagreeswel
