5、responsibilityofsupportinghismotherandyoungersiblings.Hefirstworkedforafirmmanufacturingwatchstrap,thenbecameasalesmanofplasticproducts.Becauseofhishardwork,hewassoonpromotedtomanagerand,later,generalmanager.In1950,withhisownsavings,hesetupaplasticsfactorynamed“CheungKong”on
6、HongKongIsland,thusbeginninghisillustriouscareerinthebusinessworld.In1957,accuratelyforeseeingagrowthindemand,heestablishedCheungKongIndustrialCompanyLimited,specializinginplasticflowersandtoys.Inthefollowingyear,hemadehisfirstventureintotherealestatebusinessand,bytheageof30
