3、ideaconsistentnationalsetofsymbolsforuseinmapsthatsupportemergencyresponseactivities.ANSIINCITS/L1approvedtheprojectproposal(attached)andapprovedthedraftcopyofthestandardattachedforsubmission.Thesubgroup’sworkonlinearandpolygonalsymbologytosupportemergencyresponseisdelayedpendingtheidentificationo

4、fresourcesfromDHS/FEMAatthebeginningofFY2006.Thesubgroupwillsubmitaprojectproposalforthenextphaseoftheprojectatthattime.·GuidelinesSubgroup:ProvideprinciplesandguidanceforuseinevaluatingtheneedtoreduceoreliminatepublicaccesstospecificgeospatialdataforHomelandSecurityreasons.TheFGDCsteeringcommitte

5、eisscheduletocompleteballotingonadoptionoftheguidelinesinAugust2005(somemembers’ballotsarestilloutstanding).Thesubgrouphasidentifiedfollow-onwork,butneedsanewsubgrouplead.IdentificationoftheleadispendingFGDCadoptionoftheguidelines.·InformationContentSubgroup:Provideprinciplesandguidanceongeospatia
