5、elinvasionormetastasistothemediastinalorintrathoraciclymphnodesbasedonthepreoperativeworkupfindings,andreceivedinductiontherapy.RESULTS:Completetumorresectionwasachievedin11(69 %)aftertheinductiontherapy.Pathologicalfindingsrevealedthat10patientshadMasaokastageIIIdisease,1h
6、adIVa,and5hadIVb.Thehistologicaldiagnosiswas squamouscellcarcinoma in13,neuroendocrine carcinoma in2,andundifferentiated carcinoma in1.The5-yearsurvivalrateforallpatientswas71 %.Survivalwassignificantlybetterinpatientswhounderwentacompleteresection(R0disease)ascomparedtotho
