1、外文资料AnAFM-SEMinvestigationoftheeffectofsilicafumeandflyashoncementpastemicrostructureAtomicforcemicroscopy(AFM)wasusedtoobserveparticleshapeandsurfacetexturedetailsofnormalportlandcementandsupplementarycementingmaterials(silicafume,low-calciumflyash,andhigh-calciumflyash).Thelatterm

2、aerialsmixedwithcementwereexaminedafterprolongedhydration.Significantinnovativeinformationonparticleshapeandhydratedpastemicrostucturewasobtained.Conventionalmicroscopytechniques,suchasscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),cannotprovidesuchdetailedimagesandsurfacetexturecharacteristicsoft

3、hefinematerials(especiallysilicafume)andoftheproductmicrostructure.AFMshowed,forthefirsttime,thatsilicafumeparticlesareprimarilycomposedoftwocomplimentaryparts(hemispheresorsemicylinders).Nano-sizeparticleswerefoundinallmaterials.Arelativelysmoothproductsurfacewasobservedinthehydrat

4、edcementpaste.Thehydratedsurfaceoftheaddition-cementpastespresentedsmallspheroidbulges,givinganadditionalroughnessaswasmeasuredbyAFM.Asufficientcorrelationofthismicroscopicalquantitativeinformationwithmacroscopicalengineeringanddurabilitypropertiesofcementproductsisalsopresented.1.I

5、ntroductionFortechnicalandeconomicreasons,newmaterialswithpozzolanicandcementitiouspropertieshavebeenmixedwithcementduringthelastyears.Amongthesematerialsareindustrialby-productssuchasflyashfromcoal-burningelectricpowerplants,slagsfrommetallurgicalfurnaces,silicafume(ormicrosilica)f

6、romelectricarcfurnacesproducingsiliconandferrosiliconalloys,andsomenaturallyactivematerialssuchasvolcanictuffs.TheiractivityismainlyduetotereactionoftheiractiveconstituentswithCa(OH)2producedfromcementhydration(pozzolanicactivity)andtheformationofhydratedproductswithbindingpropertie
