气体检测探查传感器DEGANBIIILCDGASDETECTORTheDEGANBIIILCDgasdetectorisdesignedforsimpleapplicationswheretheconcentrationofdangerousexplosivesortoxicsubstancescanoccur.ThedetectorisnotintendedfordetectioninindustrialandcommercialareasrequiringATEXcertificationorinareaswithan“Ex”explosionhazard.WerecommendDEGANSIILCDRE(zone2)orDEGANSIIILCDRE(zone1)fortheseareas.Basicgasdetectionmethods:CL–catalyticsensor(Pelistor)Theyoperateontheprincipleofcatalyticcombustion–gasconcentrationismeasuredbasedontheamountofheatreleasedinacontrolledcombustionreaction.Thereactionissupportedbyasuitabletemperatureandthepressenceofacatalyst.Thesesensorscanbeusedtodetectabroadrangeofflammablegases.Thesensorsarecharacterizedbyfastresponse,alonglifetimeandhighstability.Aminimumof10%ofoxygenintheairisrequiredforit’sproperfunction.EL–electrochemicalsensorTheyoperateontheprincipleofchangeofelectricalparametersontheelectrodesstoredinelectrolyte,duetooxidation/reductionreactionsofthedetectedgasonit’ssurface.Thesesensorshavegoodselectivityandtheabilitytodetectverylowconcentrationsoftoxicgases.IL–infraredsensorThetopqualityscanningmethod.Theyoperateontheprincipleofinfraredspectroscopy.Thesensorshaveexcellentselecivityinorganicmatter,donotrequireanyoxygenintheatmoshpereandareresistanttocatalystpoisons(sulfurandsiliconcompounds)whichcauseachangeofsensitivityofcatalyticsensors.Thesensorsarecharacterizedbyhighstabilityandalonglifetime.SL–semiconductorsensorTheyoperateontheprincipleofchangesinelectricalconductivityofsemiconductorsbychangingtheconcentrationofthedetectedgas.Theiradvatageisalonglifetimeinacleanenvironmentandawiderangeofdifferenttypesofgasesandvapors.Theirdisadvatageistheirlowselectivity–thesensorlarglyrespondstoothergasesforwhichitisnotcalibrated.
