3、eforeP2Pnetworksoftensufferfromalackofqualityintheirservices.Thisproblemisrootedinthelackofpossibilitiestodistinguishbetweengoodandmaliciouspeers.Inthepastpeopleusedthisshortcomingtofreerideortointroduceincorrectcontent,likemusicfileswithwrongnames,inthosenetworks.Ifthesethingshappeningreatnumber,th

4、eyleadtounsatisfactoryservices.ThereforeitisessentialfortheimprovementoftheP2Pnetworksthatwefindmethodsthathelptodistinguishmaliciouspeersfromgoodones.Furthermore,wewantthesemethodstogivetheusersanincentiveforgoodbehavior.Thiswaywecouldincreasethetrustbetweengoodpeersandhelptodecreasetheamountofint

5、eractionswithbadpeers.Accordingto[3],thenaturalwayofbuildingtrustisusingthereputationoftheassociate.InthefollowingpaperwewillhavealookatreputationsystemsforP2Pnetworks.InSection2,wewilllookatsomedifferencesbetweeninteractionsintheofflineandtheonlineworldanddiscusssomeproblemstosolve.IntheSections3,4a
