1、Nowremovetheheatercontrolswhichagainpulloutwithlittleforce.Ifoundthatalongthetopedgeoftheheatercontrolswheretwoplasticlugswhichclippedintothedashboarditself.Thesedidn’trequireanyforcetoremoveandinallhonestyyoucanjustgetyourfingersbehindtheunitandpushitoutuniformly.Oneithersideoftheunitw

2、eretwospringloadedclipsthatjustpoppedoutinthisprocess.(Ishould’vephotographedthese!)Iwouldn’tsuggestpushinganythinginfromthesidesoftheunitasIhaveseenreferencetoonotherguides,usingafoldedcreditcardetc.Ihadoneofthesetohandbutitwasn’tnecessarywiththismethod.Itmaybethatthepre-LCIcarshaveadi

3、fferentfitment.Slightpressurewasallthatwasneeded.Onceyouhaveitouttherearethreemultiplugswhichsimplyunclip.Thecentreandrighthandclipsinthepicturehaveabracketwhichyouunclipandhingedownward.Itcanbeseenonthecentreplugingreyagainsttheblack.Youpushthistotheleftofthepictureanditreleasestheblac

4、kclip.Herewiththeunitremovedyoucanseethehingetypeclipinthebackground.Oncetheheatercontrolsareremovedtheouterplastictrimsurroundcanbecarefullypriedoff.Thisisheldinplacebyfourlongslimmetalrodswhichagainpulloutwithlightpressure.Thereisonemultiplugwhichneedstobeunclippedbeforefreeingthesurr

5、oundcompletely.NextcomestheremovaloftheheadunitThisisheldinbyfourscrewsAndsimplyslidesoutafterthey’reremoved.Irecommendplacingatowelorsimilarontothecentreconsoletoprotectthemetalsurfacefromscratchesastheheadunitwillrestherewhilstyou’refittingthecentrespeakerandharnessandithasametalframe

6、.Oncepulledouttheconnectorsarevisibleatthebottomlefthandside.Non-idriveYouwillfindontopoftheACcontorltwogapsifyouslitghtlypushtheplasticcoveroutwards.Insertascrewdriverinsidethemandpressdownanpulloutatthesametimeeachatatime.Itshouldcomeoutwithabitofforce.toremovetheradio(non-idrive),fol

7、lowtheseinstructions.Don'tpullfromthetop!Useanoldcreditcard(orhotelroomkey),benditononeend,soitmakesanLshapewhenviewedfromside,thenstickthebentportionbehindthepanelandslideitdownthesideasfardownasyoucan,andthenpullforwardwiththecreditcard.Onesideshouldpoploose.Thenthewholepanel
