3、anansatz,andderiveanalyticalresultsforthecriticallinessignalingtheirmodulationalandener-geticinstability,aswellasthemaximumofthecarriedcurrent.WeshowthattheseanalyticalresultsareingoodqualitativeagreementwiththoseobtainednumericallyinpreviousworksontheBose-Hubbardmodel
4、,andinthepresentworkforthequantumphasemodel.I.INTRODUCTIONWediscusssomeartifactsintheabovepicture,bycom-paringitagainstnumericalresultsforthemostgeneralproducttrialstate.Finally,weintroduceanewana-Current-carryingstationarystatesofultracoldbosonslyticallytractabletrial
5、state,whosefactorsdependonainopticallatticesareknowntoundergoadynamicaltran-singleparameter,andshowthatitprovidesaremarkablysitionwhenthephasegradientassociatedwiththeflowgoodapproximationforsomeofthenumericallyobtainedexceedsacriticalvalue.Intheregimeoflargedensi-resul
