3、physicalbasisthatdifferentmediahavedifferentelectricalconductivity.TheinverseproblemofEITimagereconstructionisanonlinearandill—posedproblem.Thereconstructedimagesalwayshaveartifactsbecausethenoiseinthemeasuresystem.Hencethetradi—tionalregularizationmethodcannotavoidtheartifactswhichinreconstructed
4、imagebythenoise.Inthispaper,theEITinversepeoblemwillbesolvedbyexpectationmaximization(EM1method,whichisastatisticalmethod.TheEITmathematicalmodeliStransformedintothenon.negativelyconstrainedlikelihoodminimizationproblembytheEMmethod.Andthisproblemissolvedusinggradientprojection—reducedNewton(GPRN)
5、iterationmethod.Com—paredwiththeconjugategradient(CG)andtheTikhonovmethod,bothofthesimulationandexperimentalresultsshowthatEITcangetbetterreconstructionresultsbytheEMmethod.Asaresult,theEMmethodcangetnon—nega—tivesolution.Besides,theEMmethodcanavoidtheartifactsinthereconstructedimageseffectivelyan
