3、Thisarticleaimedtoinvestigatethethinlayerdryingcharacteristicsofthesteam-blanchedchrysanthemumandevaluatethequalityoftheresultingproducts.mdryingwascarriedoutatairtemperaturesof60,80,100and120"Candanairvelocityof0.5rigs.Theresultsshowedthatitwasatypical
4、processwiththecharacteristicsoffallingratedrying.anddryingratewasmarkedlyacceleratedwithincreaseoftemperature.Theprocesscouldbedlvidedintothreestages,thefirst,secondandthirdfallingratestages.andabout84%ofmoisturewasremovedinthefirstfallingratestage.Thee
5、ffectivediffusivitieswerecalculatedfrommedataofthefirstfallingratestageandrangedfrom1.10t06.44x10-’mgs.andtheactivationenergywasfoundtobe1829.5kJ/kg.Midillimodelbetterfitthedryingbehaviourofthefirstfallingratestagecomparedtotheothereightmodelsinvestigat
