4、thatstablelubricatingfilmscandevelopbetweenparallelslidingsurfaces,generallybecauseofsomemechanismthatrelaxesoneormoreoftheassumptionsoftheclassicaltheory.Astablefluidfilmwithsufficientload-carryingcapacityinparallelslidingsurfacescanbeobtained,forexample,withmacroormicrosurfac
