1、AbstractOTT(OverTheTop),usuallyreferstoaservicethatthecontentisconstructedonthebasisoftheInternetbutdoesnotneedthesupportofnetworkoperators.UserscanaccessOTTcontentthroughavarietyofterminals.Inrecentyears,thedevelopmentofmobileInternetpromotesthedevelopmentofOTT,andat

2、thesametimetheembeddedplatformbeginstobelinkedwithOTT.NowtheembeddedplatformprevailingonthemarketwhichcontainsOTTapplicationscommonlyhasbetterhardwareconfigurationandhighercostaswell.Therefore,theresearchofOTTservicesalsohasacertainpracticalsignificanceinembeddedplatf

3、orm,especiallyunderresource-constrainedsituations.ThegeneralframeworkofOTTapplicationsisdesignedafterrequirementanalysis.ThenOTTgeneraladaptationlayerandapplicationlayerofonlinevideoplayaredesigned.Downloadandmanagermodule,analysisandcachemoduleaswellassystemAPIarecon

4、tainedinOTTgeneraladaptationlayer,whichisresponsiblefordatadownloadingandparsingintheprocessofdatatransmission.OTTgeneraladaptationlayerdoesn'tdependontheembeddedplatforminterfaceandcanprovideanunifiedinterfaceformultipleapplicationstoensureitsuniversality.Theapplicat

6、theneedsofonlinevideoplayandperformancetestingshowsthatitcanprovideuserbetterexperienceandfasterresponseundertheenvironmentoffrequentswitchingofvideolist.Besides,thesystemcansolvetheproblemofonlinevideoplayinnon-browsermode,especiallyinresource-constrainedsituations.A
