3、heckedwiththepersonalinterviewsofthekeypersonnelintheSMEsandtheERPvendors.Astructuredquestionnairewasdevelopedtogettheinformation.Findings–Thesurveyof130SMEsinoneoftheindustriallyadvancedcitiesrevealsthatmostofthemhaveimplementedERPtointegratetheexistinginforma
4、tionsystemandfoundERPimplementationmainlybeneficialinreducinginventory,improvingcustomerservicesandimprovingcommunications.Topmanagementsupport,anduserinvolvementandparticipationarefoundtobethemajorcontributorsofERPsuccess.Researchlimitations/implications–There
5、searchistargetedonSMEsinonepartofIndiaandhenceithaslimitationsintermsofscope.However,theresultsarequiteencouragingwithverygoodresponsefromtheSMEs,thoughtheindustry-instituteinteractionsarenotsostrong.OtherSMEs,planningtoimplementERPinthenearfuture,willbehighlyb
