5、quiresreverberationroompre-qualificationthroughtestandtheuseoftheComparisonMethodtodetermineSoundPowerLevels.Thisstandardspecifiesthephysicalenvironment,proceduresandequipmenttoqualifythereverberationroombytest.Pre-qualifyingtheroomensuresadequatemodalden

6、sitywiththeuseofonesourcelocationtoobtainacceptableaccuracyandrepeatabilityofresults.TheReferenceSoundSource(RSS)usedfortheComparisonMethodreliesonAHRIStandard250toaccuratelycalibratetheRSSatallfrequenciesofinterest.TheuseoftheComparisonMethodreducesanumb

7、erofpotentialsourcesofdatacollectionandcalculationerrors.Thestandardcontainsinformationoninstrumentation,installationandoperationofthesource,proceduresfordeterminingthenumberofmicrophonepositionsorlengthoftraverse,andproceduresforthecalculationofSoundPowe
