2、istheeffectcalculationofaccidentalandintentionalreleaseofLNG.InaccordancewithincreasingdemandforLNGwhichapproximatesto20.5trillioncubicfeetby2010,theneedandimportanceofsafetyanalysisforLNGterminaltothesurroundingareaarerealized.LNGfacilities,worldwide,includingterminalsareinneedofof

3、f-siteriskanalysisaswellason-siteriskanalysis.Inthispaper,wesimulatetheheatradiationandbehaviorofvaporcloudflowresultingfromLNGleakorspillusingconsequenceestimationsimulatorsCARM(ConsequenceAssessmentandRiskManagement)"andPHASTusingunifieddispersionmodelbyDNV.Thiswouldresulttheestim

4、ationoftheeffectzonebasedonwhichareeffectivestrategytopreventandmitigationtheaccidentisproposed.Fromtheresultsofthesimulation,weseektoproposeastrategytoreducetherisklevel,whichalsodevelopingadequateprevention/mitigationprocedurethatwouldraisethelevelofsafetyinLNGterminalsKeywordsliq

5、uefiednaturalgasterminal,consequenceanalysis,possiblehazardsvaporcloudbehaviormitigationplan.1introductionnaturalgasimportstotaled34876bcf(billioncubicfeet)andaccountedfor15.6percentofU.Sconsumptionin2004.grossnaturalgasimportstoUS.andtherestareimportedfromAlgeria.AustraliaMalaysia,
