2、nditscontrolsystem.However,tocomparetheperformanceelingandsimulationofthefirstCIGRÉHVDCbenchmarksystemofanytwosimulators,similarcircuittopologywithcontrolusingtwosimulationtoolsPSCAD/EMTDCandPSB/SIMULINK;isaprerequisite.Toachievethatgoal,abenchmarksystemanin
3、terfacebetweenthem(PSCAD-SIMULINK)hasalsobeenim-forHVDC,knownastheCIGRÉBenchmarkModel,wasplementedandusedasasimulator.TheCIGRÉHVDCsystemanditscontrollerhasbeencarefullymodeledinallthreesimulationproposedin1985[3].Itprovidedacommonreferencesystemenvironments
4、sothatthedifferencesareminimal.ComparisonofforHVDCsystemstudies.Laterin1991,acomparisonoffoursteady-stateandtransientsituationshavebeencarriedout,andadigitalmodelshasbeencarriedoutbytheCIGRÉWorkinghighdegreeofagreementinmostofthecaseshasbeenobserved.Group[4
5、],[5],andabenchmarksystemforHVDCcontrolIndexTerms—HVDCtransmission,modeling,simulation.studywasalsoproposed.AdetailedcomparisonbetweenATPandNETOMACforthesimulationofHVDCsystemwasfirstreportedin[6],wherethefundamentaldifferencesbetweenI.INTRODUCTIONthetwosoft
6、wareandtheireffectsonsimulationresultshaveHEDESIGN,analysis,andoperationofcomplexac-dcbeendiscussed.ThestudyfoundagoodagreementbetweenTsystemsrequireextensivesimulationresourcesthatthetwosimulationresults.Morerecently,custompowercon-areaccurateandreliable.A
7、nalogsimulators,longusedfortrollerssuchasDSTATCOMandDVRhavebeensimulatedstudyingsuchsystems,havereachedtheirphysicallimitsdueto[7]usingPSCAD/EMTDCandSIMULINKtocomparetheirtheincreasingcomplexityofmodernsystems.Currently,thereperformance.However,forarigorous
8、comparisonbetweenareseveralindustrialgradedigitaltime-domainsimulationsimulationtoolsandtogaininsightintotheircapabilitiesandtoolsavailableformodelingac-dcpowersystems.Amonglimitations,themodeledsystem
