2、cation23July2007)Abstract:Anewmodelforpredictingtheacousticalpropertiesoffibrousmaterials,thecharacteristicimpedanceZcandthepropagationconstant,onlyfromtheirairflowresistivitywasconstructed.TheDelany-BazleyandMikimodelsarewellknownasconventionalpredictionmethods.Theirformulasaresimila
3、r,andtheirdifferenceisinthevaluesofcoefficientsanddegreesintheformulas.Inthisresearch,theacousticalpropertiesandairflowresistivityoffibrousmaterials,15typesofglasswooland9typesofrockwool,weremeasuredandcomparedwithvaluesobtainedbyconventionalmethodsofprediction.Itwasfoundthattheintroduct
